On Monday, January 29, 2024.- Farcinox iTank received the “Quinta Rueda: Cisterna del año 2024” award, at the National Transport Awards organized by the Editorial Editec group. In this category, a jury made up of more than 50 technical experts in this type of freight transport, who value and recognize the manufacturers' proposals and their efforts to contribute to improving the tank sector.

Farcinox iTank is one of the most innovative models developed by the tank manufacturer, which incorporates a system specifically designed for optimized monitoring with integrated sensor systems, with the aim of improving the tracking of the logistics chain and guaranteeing the quality of the products transported. An important technological improvement that represents a major advance in the digitalization of documentation since, through a highly resistant digital screen, the driver has access to all documentation for the vehicle and the product transported, in addition to the possibility of obtaining a real record of all the actions carried out during the journey and precise monitoring of the product's logistics chain from loading to unloading, allowing any type of failure or anomaly to be detected at any time and, thus, guaranteeing the conservation of the product and the safety of the vehicle.

This model, presented in October 2023 at the National Congress of Transport Entrepreneurs in tanks, “is a prototype that opens the doors to a plurality of options in different application scenarios and from which we will see its evolution throughout the year”, says Rubén Sanz, deputy director of Farcinox.

Furthermore, Farcinox iTank incorporates Moduline, the most innovative, resistant and durable chassis developed by Farcinox that integrates high efficiency and a sophisticated design. Its design based on modular principles and manufactured by stamping, contributes to improving not only the resistance to possible ruptures, but favors its lightness thanks to the optimized shapes of its components and, consequently, its weight is reduced by between 150 to 200 kg.

Externally, the tank body has a coating made from ultra-light, high-resistance polyester that allows a weight reduction of up to 120 kg, a material implemented for the first time by Farcinox in the manufacture of tanks and the results have demonstrated impressive effectiveness.
